For more than 170 years Wyndham Estate has set the benchmark for quality Australian wines, proudly wearing the title of "industry pioneer" responsible for launching Australian wines onto the world stage.
English immigrant George Wyndham began this most important page in Australia's winemaking history in 1830 when he planted his first vineyard at Dalwood, along the banks of the Hunter River, in New South Wales.
George Wyndham led the way in promoting the fledging Australian wine industry, showing Dalwood Wines in the Great Expositions of Europe and the USA. The Hunter Valley wines quickly bagged a swag of international medals and in the process earned the Australian wine industry a reputation for high standards and exceptional quality.
To honour George Wyndham's memorable achievements, Dalwood Wines was renamed Wyndham Estate in 1970 - one hundred years after George Wyndham's death.
George Wyndham became the father of Australian Shiraz after planting Australia’s first commercial Shiraz vineyard in 1830. 178 years on, they continue to blend passion and pride with experience and know-how, handcrafting intensely flavoured wines.
The precision winemaking has led to the winery recently winning another downpour of gold, silver and bronze medals in the most prestigious wine shows from all around the world. We are excited to bring them to you now. To sweeten the deal, for the first 50 orders we will give you two blocks of Club Noir Intense Dark Chocolate with every case purchased! You must be quick, these prices are only available for five days.

GOLD, GOLD, GOLD!
Jack's Comments: Wow... What can I say about this stunner! I think the awards it has won speaks for itself. I have been a fan of this wine for a while and this vintage has just surpassed the rest. It is a big dark crimson red color with plum and berry aromas. A big full bodied wine with hints of spice and well balanced oak lead to a beautiful lingering finish at the back of the palate. I really enjoy this wine with an Indian curry but it can be enjoyed by itself and of course with some cheese.
Winemaker's Comments: The wine delivers rich plum and berry fruit flavours with hints of pepper and spice associated with premium Australian shiraz.

The grenache does complement it by adding some sweet berry characteristics which leads to a medium boded wine with a nice lingering finish at the back of the palate. Does not disappoint!

Blue Pyrenees Vintage Brut
BUY 6 PACK GET $19.80 OFF THE SECOND 6PACK EQUATES TO $18.33 PER BOTTLE
Jack's Comments: The reason that I like this wine is that it has a lovely creamy texture to it, coupled with 6 years of age, which gives it that bready flavour that I simply adore.
Winemaker's Comments: Brilliantly clear, straw yellow with a touch of green. The Vintage Brut exhibits a fine and consistent bead. The complex aromas of freshly baked bread, toast and nuts are evidence of extended aging on yeast lees. Subtle hints of soft fruits and lemon zest give an overall impression of freshness and vitality. The concentrated autolytic characters of bread, toast and nuts, so evident on the nose, are complimented in the mouth by gentle bubbles that softly caress the cheeks. A lively palate is driven by a fresh lemon acidity which lingers with aged characters and gentle fruit flavours on the long finish.
Blend: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier
This is without doubt one of the best drinking sparkling wines on the market and at this price it is a steal.
