I have tasted previous vintages and to tell you the truth have never been disappointed with the quality of the wine. Heathcote is one of my favorite regions for Shiraz and this is a great example of what can come from this great wine region. I thought that at this price the wine was an absolute steal and I will be putting a case in the cellar myself. Winemaker's Comments: Dense purple-red; a very complex wine, with 7% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Strathbogie Ranges; has the intense plum, blackberry and licorice of Heathcote, the Cabernet adding to the structure and length.
