They have a massive international presence and it is getting bigger back here in Australia. This Shiraz as with the rest of there wines, is very easy drinking non offensive and is sure to please everybody. A great wine for any occasion. Winemaker's Comments: While some Shiraz can be over the top, Yellowtail Shiraz offers some seriously easy drinking, even when the wine is young. Red fruits dominate the nose and mouth, but subtle spice and a hint of dusty tannins join in for good measure. A perfect winter warmer and yet surprisingly drinkable all year around. Aroma: Crushed red berries, sweet spice and cedary notes. Flavour: Yellowtail Shiraz has deep and dark in the palate, this Shiraz offers classic red berry fruit, Christmas cake spices, dried figs and a long, juicy finish. Serve with herb crusted leg of lamb, medium rare, and a handful of oven baked potato wedges. The Grape Shiraz is a full bodied red grape with lots of personality and a hint of spice.
