Jack's Comments: Another of the lower alcohol and calories wines which has been endorsed by weight watchers. This wine is on the point system from weight watchers and equals only 1 point per serve. This Shiraz has lovely succulent berry flavours with a good structure of spice and lingering tannins that have a slight smokey chocolate sensation that is very enjoyable. It's certainly going to be popular!
Winemaker's Comments: From consumer research, McWilliam's found that consumers want lighter, more refreshing styles of wine that better align to their lifestyle. McWilliam's Balance has just 8.5% alcohol, being 1/3 lower in alcohol and 1/3 lower in kilojoules.* Not only does one glass of McWilliam's Balance wine have a Weight Watchers POINTS value of one but it also equals exactly one standard drink.
