5 Star Value Rating: Rating: 91/100 Category: White Wines Case Size: 12 bottles Year: 2008 Jack's Comments: I have to say that I am really enjoying Pinot Grigio. It is a good break from the clutter of Sauvignon Blanc on the market. This wine is one I have been enjoying over the past few weeks. It is a lovely crisp, refreshing, fruit driven wine that is delicate but well balanced with a good body. It is more similar to a Chardonnay and drinks very well. You should try this as it is an excellent example of one of the better Pinot Grigio on the market. Winemaker's Comments: This Pinot Grigio is one of our La Famiglia - The Family - wines to celebrate our Irish and Italian heritage involved in grapegrowing and winemaking - celebrating a love for life.
A light aromatic wine with delicate perfumed fruits balanced by crisp acidity. Enjoy while young and fresh. Blend: Pinot Grigio
12.0% ALC Region: Riverina Cellaring Potential: This wine is drinking very well now. Awards/Trophies: Trophy - 2008 Australian Alternative Varieties Wine Show - HIGHEST SCORING MURRAY DARLING REGION WINE

'This has some deep orange peel and nettle, lots of peel fruit and deep: a touch of voluptuousness too. Excellent palate this: juicy pear flesh, but getting crisper and bitter cucumber skin-flavoured at the back. Quite mouth-sucking at the back adn with just the right slipperiness.'
