Let me same the crew at Yalumba have hit the nail on the head with this excellent wine. It has wonderful ripe fruit characters while still being quite relaxed on the palate. Small packets of sweet fruit also arrive laying the foundation for a pineapple and passionfruit sensation. It finishes off nice and crisp with an exceptional clean finish. Winemaker's Comments: This first release of Yalumba Y Series Sauvignon Blanc is characterised by an aroma of intense passionfruit, mown grass, a touch of fragrant spice and hints of nettle leaf. The palate has layers of flavours such as lemons and tropical fruit with fresh cut herbs, and textures that are succulent and long. It finishes with lingering flavours and a refreshing natural acidity.
