5 Star Value Rating: Rating: 90/100 Category: Red Wines Case Size: 12 bottles Year: 2006 Jack's Comments: I was expecting a OK easy drinking wine when this arrived, when i tasted this I was blown away by the depth the balance and the fruit was delicate and it was far more than just a OK wine. This wine needs a little time in the glass to open up to its full potential and when it does it is just luscious to drink. Winemaker's Comments: The nose displays rich ripe berry aromas and pepper integrated with fine French oak. The medium bodied palate displays great texture and weight, with blackberry fruits, pepper and toasty pencil shavings oak balanced by soft tannins. The palate is long and complex.
Blend: Shiraz Region: The Grampians Cellaring Potential: Drinks really well now but could cellar for a further 5-6 years.
