It has just a little bit more body and richness than a few of the other Sauvignon Blanc's at this level. Well worth the money as this is a special wine. Winemaker's Comments: Aromatic pink grapefruit and jasmine pop out of the glass, followed by vrietal tropical fruit ans zest. The palate has interest and complexity from extended time on lees balanced by fresh minerality and great length. A small portion of this wine was fermented in oak barrells giving it a savoury touch. We work with a team of passionate growers from key sub-regions of Marlborough,namely Waihopai,Awatere and the Wairau Valley, to create a wine with personality.
