Jack's Comments: This is a great example of a good Pinot. It is silky and smooth but also offers a medium body with excellent structure and flavours. The palate gets red cherries and slight spice flavours and it lingers out into a well rounded balanced finish with just the right mix of tannins that leaves you wanting more. I could not put the wine away, it really is a very good pinot and is much better than others more than twice its price. It is starting to get a bit of a following as people have recognised it is a great wine. This is the new vintage release and I must say it is just as good as the previous vintage which won awards and ranked highly. This is a super buy!
Winemaker's Comments: Pinot Noir has been referred to as the noblest of all grape varieties, making some of the most famous of all red wines. This vintage has aroma's of cherry and strawberry with a hint of toasty French oak. On the palate the wine is medium bodied and features Pinot Noir's typically silky mouthfeel. Thw wine is best drunk over the next few years as an accompaniment to pasta, gamey meats like duck or mild creamy cheeses
Blend: Pinot Noir
Region: Murray Valley
Cellaring Potential: Drinking Fantastic now but could get better with 3-4 years.

A 2008 Pinot with good fruit - cherry characteristics and very smooth. A great wine at the price and one you would be pleased to take anywhere.
