There is alot going on with it but it hits all the right senses. It has great rip fruit flavours and the tannins are showing spicy elements. The merlot brings out a softness on the palate but the cabernet bursts through at the end to give out the blackcurrant flavors and hints of spice. It is a excellent approachable wine from one of Coonawarra's standout producers. Winemaker's Comments: The elegant blend of Merlot (76%), Cabernet Sauvignon (14%) and Cabernet Franc (10%) displays a complex yet ethereal nose of sweet fruit and cedary new oak, and offers a round and soft structure with blackberry and cassis fruit flavours. Blend: Merlot 76% Cabernet Sauvignon 14% Cabernet Franc 10% Region: Coonawarra Cellaring Potential: Drinking extremely well now but could get better with 4-6 years
