Review:	Leasingham Bin 61 2005 Vintage Clare Valley Shiraz Triple Gold Medal winner purchased from Jacks Wine - Ballarat. I grew up west of the Clare Valley when Leasingham wines to a South Australian was a well recognised Brand. Now living in Sydney I saw this wine on Jacks list after not having seen a Leasingham wine for more than 20 years. It smelt good when opened and I couldn't wait to take the first sip, it flowed very smoothly through the mouth and had that silky smooth after taste as it went down. It was a soft smooth mature shiraz having age on its side to fully develop the wine in the bottle. It gave a bottle to a close friend to try and he was back in a flash to see if I could buy him a dozen. This wine is a splendid example of the Clare Valley wines with their soft but definite flavours also shown in the Taylors Clare Valley wines. Jack can you get some more of this delightfull 2005 Vintage wine.....please?
